VersiFlex Extended Capacity Cartridge, Expander - Sawgrass SG1000

The VersiFlex expander cartridge in 2.37 fl oz capacity is a key element of the VersiFlex system for Sawgrass SG500 and SG1000 printers. This extended-capacity cartridge applies a transparent bonding layer that enables CMY inks to adhere to non-coated and porous materials.

The expander allows printing on substrates such as cotton, wood, ceramics, and canvas without the need for pre-treatment. It also supports a clean transfer process, where only the printed areas are applied to the surface, resulting in a precise and residue-free finish.

Within the CMY + Expander system, the expander plays a crucial role in adhesion and color depth. It works together with CMY inks to achieve dark tones and balanced color output without using a black cartridge. Please note that VersiFlex ink requires a dedicated printer setup and cannot be combined with Sublijet UHD ink. For optimal results, use with VersiFlex paper.
